Do not update while walking – stay seated or standing still.
Update steps (iOS & Android same)

| 1 | Open Ascentiz app |
| 2 | Go to Settings or Device tab |
| 3 | Tap Firmware Update |
| 4 | If update available, tap Download & Install |
| 5 | Wait for progress bar to reach 100% |
| 6 | Device will restart automatically – done |
Do not close the app or turn off the device during update.
What to do if update fails
| Problem | Fix |
| Update stuck at 0% | Check Bluetooth and connection. Restart app. |
| Update fails mid-way | Power cycle exosuit. Reconnect app. Try again. |
| Device won't turn on after update | Contact support – do not attempt to fix yourself |
Most failed updates resolve with a second attempt.
