Your first 5 minutes of walking – slow, steady, and safe.
Always use a handrail, wall, or sturdy furniture for your first few sessions.
Before you start
| Checklist | Status |
| Exosuit worn and straps properly tightened | ☐ |
| Powered on – LED shows green (Ease Mode) | ☐ |
| Handrail or wall within reach | ☐ |
| Clear, flat floor (no carpets, cords, or clutter) | ☐ |
⚠️ First time only: Do not walk without handrail support.
Step 1: Stand still first
- Stand upright with feet shoulder‑width apart
- Hold the handrail lightly – don't lean on it
- Feel the exosuit engage. You may notice a slight hum or gentle pressure.
Stay still for 10–15 seconds to let the sensors calibrate.
Step 2: Take your first step
- Shift your weight slightly onto one leg
- Lift the other knee – the exosuit will help swing the leg forward
- Heel first, then toe – walk naturally, don't stomp
Step 3: Find your rhythm
After 5–6 steps, you can:
| Action | Tip |
| Increase speed | Walk at a slow, comfortable pace – not a race |
| Use handrail less | Try fingertips only, then hover nearby |
| Turn around | Take small steps, don't pivot sharply |
Stop if you feel: dizziness, sharp pain, or the exosuit lagging badly.
When to stop for the day
- You feel muscle fatigue (not sharp pain)
- Your posture gets worse (slouching or leaning)
- The exosuit feels less responsive (battery may be low)
