A quick 30‑second check before each use.
If your exosuit doesn't feel "barely there," it's probably too tight or too loose.
Too tight – signs to watch for
| Body signal | What it means |
| Numbness or tingling in legs/feet | ❌ Too tight – loosen straps immediately |
| Sharp pain under straps | ❌ Pressure point – reposition and loosen |
| Skin redness that doesn't fade after 5‑10 minutes | ❌ Too tight or strap twisted |
| Hard to take a full breath | ❌ Waist belt too tight |
Fix: Loosen all straps by one notch and retest.
Too loose – signs to watch for
| Performance issue | What it means |
| Exosuit feels "weak" or doesn't help | ❌ Too loose – power isn't transferring |
| Device slides down your body | ❌ Waist belt loose |
| Leg cuffs spin or drop when you lift your knee | ❌ Thigh straps loose |
| LED stays yellow even after standing | ❌ Wear detection failed – straps too loose |
Fix: Tighten waist belt first, then thigh straps. Retest the knee lift.
The 10‑second test
After putting on the exosuit and powering on:
| Action | ✅ Good fit | ❌ Bad fit |
| Lift one knee | Exosuit leg rises with you | Leg cuff lags or spins |
| Twist your upper body | Waist belt stays put | Belt slides or shifts |
| Take 3 steps | Smooth, natural | Feels weak or pinches |
